Founded by the Rothschild Family and named after James Mayer de Rothschild, Zichron Ya’akov was one of the first Jewish agriculture colonies and the house of the first winery in Israel, Carmel Winery. It is situated on a beautiful mountain just one hour north of Tel Aviv.
